We added two ducklings to our household today. A white pekin (female) and a black cayugan (male). My daughter has named them Edward and Bella. The hope is that eggs and/or more ducklings will be in our future this year. This is one of the homesteading activities we decided to do in conjunction with homeschool, that we could do as a family, and that the boys could actively participate in. So far we are lucky...Edward and Bella (you have to love those names) are fairly tame and ate out of the kids hands today.
