Handprint shirts are a great activity to do with your homeschoolers as an art project and can be accomplished easily by both typicals and special needs kiddos. The shirt is from target and the paint used is fabric paint from JoAnns. Use a sponge to make the center of the flower and them paint your childs hand and have them them place their hand around the sponge to make the petals (repainting their hand each handprint/petal). Here is my daughter with a family friend; we made the shirts at their house.| preparing the sponge to make flower center |

That is adorable! Thanks for the great idea!
ReplyDeleteIt's really easy and if you put the kids in an old t shirt or art smock, there is hardly any mess. Also, if you heat set the shirts per directions and then wash them inside out, the design stays looking GREAT!
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable shirt idea! I love it! I went wild and pinned it on a bunch of boards.
