Tuesday Review: Hanging On

This week, I received an invitation, a great opportunity, to try out some homeschool curricula for a company and write a review about it. Being a Speech-Language Pathologist who just happens to homeschool, I enjoy reviewing curriculum and teaching aids as they were such a part of my career in pediatric speech language pathology for 17 years! So of course, I am happy to be asked.  Of course, it also comes right as I am BURIED in preparing for midterms in all my classes and planning the Girl Scout Troop Investiture and Rededication Ceremony. Isn't that how it always goes?

This week, I want to kick "busy" to the curb. I want to enjoy unhurried moments with my family and I want to breathe deeply knowing that everything I am doing, in that moment, is simply enough.

Blessings to you,

  1. Hello Katie!
I just thought I'd pop over and meet my newest follower over at Dandelion House... I think your blog name is adorable and it looks as if we share many of the same passions... including a love for all things English! I've never been to
England but I live vicariously through my English Home and English Garden Magazine Subscriptions!
Best to you in your homeschooling adventures and homemaking too! It's high arts at it's best!
    Hope to see you again!
