Mr. Darcy is taking care of all the animals while I am away this week. Typically (when it is not tax season), we go out each morning to the flock (we have chickens, ducks and turkeys) and to the garden and do the morning chores together. I love that. Are the homestead chores shared at your house, or does just one person do them? Do you take turns or do them together?
I look forward to reading your blog comments when I get back, but for now, I am thankful for a completely unplugged week...no blog, no facebook, no internet. In the same way that I love our homesteading lifestyle, I love those times that are just for family without the intrusion of technology. They help us to reset and recharge, and are important for our thoughts, minds and hearts.
